Neural Network

A machine learning model loosely inspired by how brain neurons connect — layers of simple mathematical units that combine to recognise complex patterns.

Almost all modern AI, including LLMs and image generators, is built on neural networks — the term predates deep learning by decades but is now used almost interchangeably with it.
