Parameter

One of the many internal numerical values an AI model adjusts during training to learn patterns — often used as a rough proxy for a model's size and capability.

A model with more parameters isn't automatically better — training data quality and technique matter just as much, which is why smaller, well-trained models can outperform larger, poorly-trained ones.
